  1. WHAT TYPE OF PERSONAL DATA DOES MAE COLLECT?

MAE may collect the following personal data of the E-FIX newsletter users on the website www.energyfinancing.eu through appropriate forms: full name, e-mail address.

MAE collects data in order to provide users with cyclical information brochures related to the implementation of the E-FIX project (E-FIX newsletter) and information related to the E-FIX project implementation. The E-FIX project is a project financed by the EU's research and innovation programme "Horizon 2020" under the grant contract No. 785081, which aims to initiate new private investments using a combination of innovative financing mechanisms such as energy performance contracting (EPC), crowdfunding and leasing for projects concerning energy efficiency and renewable energy industry.

All personal data collected by MAE comes from the interested party, namely the user.

MAE wishes to inform that it takes advantage of the services provided by AcyMailing www.acyba.com to send to the users the E-FIX newsletter and information related to the implementation of the E-FIX project.

 

Personal data of the interested party will be processed for the following purposes, if applicable:

- creating and managing a register on the website. The register entails creating a mailing list with the aim of sending the newsletter.

- MAE does not create user's navigation profiles,

- handling and sending information concerning the E-FIX project, events implemented as part of the project in the user's country and in other countries involved in the E-FIX project

- responding to requests to exercise the right of access, correction, deletion and objection, as well as inquiry and complaint;

- managing event availability notification service within the F-FIX project;

 

  1. HOW LONG DO WE STORE THE DATA?

MAE will store personal data only for a reasonably necessary period, with regard to such needs as answering enquiries and solving problems, introducing improvements, activating services and meeting the requirements of applicable provisions of law. This means that it may store personal data for a reasonable period even if the interested party ceased to use MAE’s services or the website. After this period, personal data will be blocked in all MAE’s systems.

 

  1. WHAT ARE THE GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING THE DATA?

MAE uses the following grounds to justify the personal data processing:

  1. Consent

Legal basis for personal data processing will be the consent of the interested person, if granted, for the following purposes:

- managing the register on the website,

- managing the sending service of E-FIX information brochures, newsletter and information on events within the E-FIX project

- responding to requests concerning the exercise of the right to access, correction, deletion and objection, as well as inquiries and complaints from the interested party;

  1. Legitimate interest

Legitimate interest of MAE will be the legal basis for personal data processing for the following purposes. Our legitimate interest is the ability to guarantee that the website is secure and to help MAE to improve understanding of the needs, expectations and level of satisfaction of users involved in the E-FIX project.

 

  1. TO WHAT RECIPIENTS CAN WE DISCLOSE THE DATA?

Personal data of the interested party may be transferred / disclosed to the following recipients:

- access to the data will be available to persons who have access to the CMS management panel of the website,

- public administration and public institutions, when required by law.

In no case does MAE make available customer data to third parties.

 

The website uses such methods of information protection as:  access control procedures, authentication and cryptographic mechanisms to prevent unauthorized access to the data and to guarantee the confidentiality of data. To enable this, the user consents to the data being obtained by MAE for authentication purposes as part of the access control.

1.      Access right

The user has the right to obtain information whether MAE processes personal data concerning him or her and to obtain access to his or her personal data held by MA.

2.      Right to correction

The user may request that MAE corrects personal data when it is inaccurate or supplements it when incomplete. Users registered on our WEBPAGE can also easily and directly correct their data by making appropriate changes to their profile.

3.      Right to deletion/ „to be forgotten”

The user may request the deletion of his or her personal data when, among other things, it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected.

4.      Right to limit data processing

The user has the right to request a limitation of data processing, in which case it will be stored solely for  the sake of pursuing and defending claims.

5.      Right to data transferability

The user has the right to receive personal data in a structured, commonly used machine-readable format and pass it on to another entity when the data processing is based on consent and is done in an automated manner.

6.      Right to objection

The user may object to personal data processing, on the basis of public interest or legitimate interest, which MAE observes. In this case, MAE will cease to process the data unless there are valid, legally justified grounds for processing or for the purpose of pursuing or defending claims.

7.      Right to lodge a complaint

The user has the right to lodge a complaint to the President of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data, ul. Stawki 2, Warsaw.
